Costume

Monster - Black hoodie, trousers, shoes - The reason that it's going to be black is because it gives the representation of death and loneliness giving for a deeper, sadder meaning to it. It also shows that the character is mysterious and ominous leaving the audience clueless to who the person behind the shadows is.

Prop(s) - Knife - This will be used a bit later in the opening because a knife gives a sense of fear and intimidation to the character. - The knife idea was scrapped as I'm trying to keep away from cliche.


Main protagonist (Tom) - Nike running shoes - this is to show that he is relaxed and comfortable,
Black trousers - School dress code that you have to wear something black indicating that he is still a student but someone higher up in the year.
White top - This indicates the innocence of the character almost like a white flag saying that he doesn't want any trouble.
Red open buttoned t-shirt - This show that he is a smart casual kind of person meaning that he want to look good at school and for other people giving him a more approachable look.

Props - Bag - this is a clear indication tat he has text books in it and that he is coming home from school late. - This was never implemented because there was no reason to add it. 
Watch on right wrist - the character is left handed show that he is different and that he has some money to spend on accessories.

After Dream - Blue jeans - this indicates sadness without showing the emotion.
Grey hoodie - This is to show depression from the aftermath of the experience. It also shows that his emotions might be slipping away from him leaving him to feel like a doll or a puppet.
Black Nike shoes -
Not used due to the time of the opening left me with restrictions (didn't have long enough)

Side character (Jen) - Blue jeans, white tank top, socks, no shoes - This shows that she was some place safe but got taken away/kidnapped. It makes the situation they are in more tense as they know that someone can just take you from a safe environment, who else has it taken and what has it done.
The character had to be changed to a guys as there was no girls that could fit role i provided so i had to improvise.
